All-day dental workshops, complementing International Congress „Small Mammal Medicine in Practice” (27-28.05.2023).

The training program includes 3 parts:

Theoretical (about 2.5 hours), covering the surgical anatomy, surgical accesses and the main assumptions of dental surgery in various dental diseases

Demonstration (about 1.5 hours), presenting surgical techniques discussed theoretically step-by-step

Practical hands-on (about 3 hours), practicing surgical techniques on cadavers

During the workshops, participants will be equipped with sets of surgical and dental instruments and dental units. X-Ray devices and dental scanners will be provided so it will be possible to take X-ray pictures. However, techniques of optimal positioning are not planned in the official program.

An important and at the same time unique point of the workshop will be the possibility for the participant to choose one specific surgical technique, which will be presented to him step by step. The selection of the technique and species in which it is used will be possible when filling in the registration form.

The organizer provides: printed materials in English, protective materials, surgical tools for the duration of the workshop, all-day coffee breaks and lunch, after completing the workshops, certificates in English.
