Francesco Paesano DVM, GPCert Small Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery

 

Dr. Francesco Paesano graduated in 2013 from the University of Pisa with a thesis on “Partial Intravenous Anesthesia in Orthopedic Procedures for Wild Avian Species.” He then pursued internships and clinical experiences in zoological parks, wildlife rescue centers, and exotic animal clinics across Spain, Portugal, the UK, and Indonesia.

From 2016 to 2018, he worked in small animal general practice, exotic animal medicine and surgery, and dentistry at Global United Veterinary Clinic in Abu Dhabi. Since 2018, he has focused exclusively on veterinary dentistry and oral surgery, including exotic animal surgery, leading the department at Clinica Veterinaria Borghesiana in Rome until September 2022.

In 2022, he earned the “General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery” from the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies. Since October 2022, he has collaborated with Vet Hospital 24H and VetPartners Italia clinics, as well as working freelance across Tuscany.

Since May 2023, he has been involved with the Centro Toscano Recupero Avifauna Selvatica in Empoli. In January 2024, he became the Scientific Advisor for Veterinary Dentistry at ESACROM.com, specializing in piezoelectric surgery. In collaboration with Esacrom, he developed the world’s first piezoelectric insert kit specifically designed for oral and maxillofacial surgery in dogs, cats, and rabbits and introduced surgical techniques such as the Piezoelectric Extraction Technique.

Dr. Paesano is a lecturer for Unisvet’s practical dentistry courses for veterinarians and technicians and teaches postgraduate courses at Ifevet International. His main areas of interest are oncologic and maxillofacial trauma surgery and piezoelectric surgery.

He is a speaker at national and international veterinary dentistry and exotic animal medicine conferences and has authored publications in international scientific journals on veterinary piezoelectric surgery.

Jakub Kliszcz DVM

 

Graduated with distinction in Exotic Animal Diseases from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in 2008. From the start of his career, he has specialized in small mammal medicine, and since 2014, he has devoted himself entirely to his greatest passion—veterinary dentistry. Known as a one-person reference unit in this field, he is the author of veterinary publications, national and international courses, and scientific reports presented at global conferences. Since 2020, he has been affiliated with the animal.med Veterinary Clinic in Gdańsk, and from 2022, he has been a partner of Vet Pro Akademia, organizing training sessions on a wide range of exotic animal topics.

Esacrom has been founded in 1999 thanks to the sharing of ideas, about the scientific research and new technologies development, by some technical experts in electronics.

The solutions proposed so far have proved often of excellence in the various sectors in which we operate.
