About the lecturers

Dr. Francesco Paesano, DVM, GPCert Small Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery
Dr. Francesco Paesano graduated in 2013 from the University of Pisa with a thesis on “Partial Intravenous Anesthesia in Orthopedic Procedures for Wild Avian Species.” He then pursued internships and clinical experiences in zoological parks, wildlife rescue centers, and exotic animal clinics across Spain, Portugal, the UK, and Indonesia.
From 2016 to 2018, he worked in small animal general practice, exotic animal medicine and surgery, and dentistry at Global United Veterinary Clinic in Abu Dhabi. Since 2018, he has focused exclusively on veterinary dentistry and oral surgery, including exotic animal surgery, leading the department at Clinica Veterinaria Borghesiana in Rome until September 2022.
In 2022, he earned the “General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery” from the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies. Since October 2022, he has collaborated with Vet Hospital 24H and VetPartners Italia clinics, as well as working freelance across Tuscany.
Since May 2023, he has been involved with the Centro Toscano Recupero Avifauna Selvatica in Empoli. In January 2024, he became the Scientific Advisor for Veterinary Dentistry at ESACROM.com, specializing in piezoelectric surgery.
Dr. Paesano is a lecturer for Unisvet’s practical dentistry courses for veterinarians and technicians and teaches postgraduate courses at Ifevet International. His main areas of interest are oncologic and maxillofacial trauma surgery and piezoelectric surgery.
He is a speaker at national and international veterinary dentistry and exotic animal medicine conferences and has authored publications in international scientific journals on veterinary piezoelectric surgery.

Dr. Davide Bellotti DVM, GPCert Small Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery
Dr. Bellotti graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2006 from the University of Parma. In 2008, he moved to the United Kingdom, working as a general practitioner at Chantry Vets LTD and beginning to specialize in odontostomatology. Since 2011, he has been the owner of La Meridiana Veterinary Clinic.
In 2018, he attended the “Formazione ad Personam” program at the Novara Veterinary Institute with Dr. Gracis (Dipl. AVDC, Dipl. EVDC). In 2021, he completed the Odontostomatology and Oral Surgery Itinerary GPCert (SADen&OS). Since 2020, he has been working as a freelance odontostomatologist in the province of Brescia, and since 2022, he has been the Medical Director of the “Il Mio Veterinario” clinics.
