Lecturers:

Assoc.Prof. MVDr, PhD, Dip ECZM Vladimir Jekl (Brno)

Vladimír Jekl is a 2002 graduate of the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UVPS) Brno, Czech Republic. He obtained his PhD in exotic companion mammal dentistry in 2006. He has practiced exclusively exotic animal medicine and since 2009 is European Recognised Specialist in Zoological Medicine (Small Mammal Medicine and Surgery) and from 2016 he obtains the title Associate Professor at the UVPS.

From 2017 he is the co-owner of the Jekl & Hauptman Veterinary Clinic Focused on Exotic Companion Mammals. He has lectured extensively thorough the Europe and the USA and he has published more 380 articles in regional and international journals and books, including chapters in BSAVA Manuals and Practical Veterinary Dental Radiography.

His current focus involves dental disease, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and soft tissue surgery in small mammals.

DVM Jakub Kliszcz

Jakub Kliszcz is a graduate of the SSGW in Warsaw in 2008 with honors in the Medicine of Exotic Animals. From the beginning of his professional career he worked as a clinician exclusively with small mammals. During his internship, he became interested in dentistry and currently consults only dental patients.

In search of knowledge, he participated in many conferences and workshops related to dentistry all over Europe, always trying to combine theoretical knowledge with practice and to implement various experiences of dental authorities in his own patients.

Since 2014, he has been focusing mainly on raising awareness of dental diseases in caregivers of small mammals and veterinarians. He runs an educational website (www.jakubkliszcz.com), lectures in Poland and abroad, is the author of industry articles and scientific reports at conferences in the field of dentistry. It also organizes practical courses and training.

DVM Agnieszka Wdowiarska

A graduate of the SSGW in Warsaw. After graduating in 2011, she started working as a clinician dealing with diagnostics and treatment of small mammals. From the very beginning of her professional career, she has been associated with ultrasound examination, which has become her passion. She gained her knowledge and experience in the best clinics in the country treating exotic animals. He deepens his knowledge at numerous trainings and conferences both in Poland and abroad.

Since 2014, he has been trying to promote ultrasound diagnostics in exotic patients by conducting numerous trainings and courses in this field, as well as by publishing articles in the trade press.

In 2019, she completed the first edition of the 4-semester Specialization Course under the patronage of the Veterinary Section of the Polish Ultrasound Society.

Currently, she works at the Animal.Med Specialist Veterinary Clinic in Gdańsk, where she deals exclusively with ultrasound diagnostics of cats and exotic animals.

DVM Aleksandra Małek-Sanigórska

A graduate of the SGGW in Warsaw.
A specialist in diseases of non-domesticated animals.

For 7 years he has been involved in ultrasound and for 2 years also in cardiology, he specializes in the study of small mammals, works in the largest specialist clinics for exotic animals in Warsaw (Pulsvet, Medicavet).

He is a DVM certified by SW PTU

He conducts courses and trainings in ultrasound and classes in the field of diseases of non-domesticated animals as well as for students of English-language studies at the SGGW in Warsaw.

She is the author of articles, among others in the field of ultrasound of exotic animals.

DVM Jakub Fatyga

A graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. In 2020, he graduated from the specialization studies in Diseases of Non-domesticated Animals at the SGGW in Warsaw.

Passionate about exotic surgery, dentistry and endoscopy. Participant and speaker at many conferences and courses related to the subject of exotic animals. Propagator of knowledge in the field of breeding, behavior and medicine of exotic animals.

Currently a student at the University of Georgia and Colorado State University, where he broadens his knowledge in the field of exotic animal endoscopy. Member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians.
